Steve is a partner in Citrin Cooperman's Business Process Outsourcing Practice, specializing in healthcare advisory solutions. He is based out of the Woodmere, OH office.

Steve provides financial and operational consulting services to healthcare providers, including skilled nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICF/IID), home health agencies, federally qualified health centers (FQHC), and long-term acute care hospitals. He has extensive experience in Medicaid and Medicare cost reporting and reimbursement for both skilled nursing facilities and ICFs/IID in many states, including Ohio, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. He also specializes in financial and reimbursement aspects of healthcare buy/sell agreements, Certificate of Need applications, benchmarking, data analysis, and operational and reimbursement consulting. He utilizes his varied background to assist healthcare providers in achieving operational efficiencies and improved profitability.

Steve is an experienced speaker on numerous healthcare operational and reimbursement related topics. He sits on the Ohio Health Care Association’s Reimbursement Committee, serving as the Committee’s Chair from 2022-2024.

Previously, Steve was a principal of HW&Co., which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2025.
