David is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s Business Management and Family Office Practice, bringing over 25 years of experience advising high net worth individuals and families. As a leader in the family office space, he specializes in building and optimizing the financial infrastructure that supports multi-generational wealth, working with clients who maintain complex holdings across private equity, hedge funds, real estate, operating businesses, and other alternative investments.

David provides holistic advisory support across the full spectrum of family office needs, including financial reporting, investment administration, cash flow planning, risk oversight, entity structuring, intergenerational planning coordination, and bill pay services. He collaborates closely with internal family office teams and external advisors to create clarity, accountability, and operational efficiency.

He began his career in public accounting with a concentration in alternative investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity, and fund of funds. He later held senior roles—including controller, director, and partner—at a multi-billion-dollar New York-based trading and investment firm, where he led the accounting and reporting function and played a central role in building a high-integrity, data-driven back office.

David previously served as a senior manager in the Family Office Services Practice at Untracht Early, which merged with Citrin Cooperman in 2022. At Citrin, he has been instrumental in shaping and implementing a best-of-breed technology stack, integrating platforms and tools that enhance data aggregation, reporting accuracy, workflow automation, and client service delivery. His deep technical insight and practical experience have helped position the firm at the forefront of technology-enabled family office solutions.
