Paula Vuksic is a tax partner in Citrin Cooperman’s New Jersey office with more than 25 years of experience in the areas of tax research, compliance, and reporting.
Paula’s tax practice consists of high net worth individuals, closely held businesses across a range of industries, and estates and trusts. She also regularly collaborates with numerous other firm’s practices to provide support on various tax matters.
As a tax specialist, Paula is highly involved in preparing and reviewing corporate and partnership returns and tax documents for her business clients. She has deep expertise in international tax and expatriate matters, helping clients navigate various tax issues associated with living and working abroad or temporarily working in the U.S. She is also highly knowledgeable in preparing complex returns for delinquent and Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Initiative (OVDI) cases.
Paula is the tax leader for the firm’s Not-for-Profit Services Practice, and as such, she helps clients ensure that they maintain the correct governance and procedures, and tax compliance. Additionally, she helps tax-exempt organizations understand and comply with issues related to the unrelated business income tax.
